Meru-Merui

Meru-Merui is round as a ball,

a stuffed penguin, small but all.

Diamond body, sea and air inside,

black eyes like uni, wide and bright.

His best friend is a butterfly,

with a shadow soft as midnight sky.

Still and strange, but warm somehow,

a tiny friend with a noble brow.
